Frederick is our CEO, overseeing the growth of our integrated global communication solutions business. He is responsible for all commercial activities within PCCW Global, which includes Data, Mobility, Voice and our on-demand platform Console Connect.

He has more than 32 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry, the last 28 years of which have been with the PCCW-HKT Group.

Frederick is a Board Member of the Bridge Alliance and a Board Member of the Global Leaders Forum (GLF). He previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of MEF, and also sits on the boards of a number of subsidiaries around the world.

Paul is our Chief Technology Officer, leading our innovation in automated network and platform services. He is responsible for Research and Development, Service and Operations, Information Technology, IP Engineering, Information Security and Training.

As one of the founders of Console Connect, Paul led the company from a venture-backed start through to its successful acquisition by PCCW Global in 2017. Since then, Paul has been instrumental in aligning our organisation with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), as well as overseeing the integration of Console Connect’s software automation capability with PCCW Global’s network.

Paul is an expert in open source technology and has worked extensively in the fields of cloud computing, networks and data centres. He currently serves as a Board Member for MEF, and also previously served as Chair of the Technical Committee for CBAN.

He brings over 20 years of experience in IT operations, software development and international business and has held positions as CTO of NEXTDC, Vice President of Worldwide Engineering Services and Operations at Red Hat, and General Manager of TWICS; Japan’s first public ISP.

Francis is a data-driven executive with over 20 years of experience delivering measurable outcomes, accelerating revenue growth, and leading cross-functional teams across the Technology and Telecommunications sectors. Since joining PCCW Global in 2010 as Senior Sales Manager, he has advanced to SVP Commercial Head Asia and MEA. He oversees Sales across Asia and the Middle East & Africa, and leads global functions including Global Presales, Commercial Operations, Internal Digital Operations, and Global Service Management.

A strong advocate for transformation, Francis believes operational excellence is the foundation of exceptional customer experience. He brings deep expertise in operational gap analysis, business process digitalisation, and performance optimisation, as well as reducing inefficiencies, maximising resources, and increasing profitability. Recognised for simplifying and solving complex challenges, Francis fosters cross-functional collaboration and empowers teams to embrace digital transformation and innovation.

With over 30 years of experience in Telecommunications, System Integration, and Distribution, Petros has held senior leadership roles across major European telecom operators, including Managing Director, Sales Director, and Business Development Director.

In his current role, Petros leads the regional sales strategy across Europe and the Americas, in addition to holding global responsibility for the company’s Automated Platform Business. As Commercial Head, he is entrusted with global oversight across commercial, operational, and product functions, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic vision.

Prior to joining PCCW Global, he held key positions at OTEGlobe and Flag Telecom. Petros holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications from the University of Wales, Cardiff.

Linda brings over 20 years of rich experience in the telecommunications and mobile industries. In her current executive role, Linda leads the teams focused on Roaming, MVNO, A2P Messaging & Voice with strategic responsibilities to drive revenue and EBITDA growth for the PCCW Global Business Unit.

Linda is dedicated to driving innovation, formulating strategies, and fostering partnerships with mobile operators and international carriers. Prior to her tenure at PCCW Global, Linda held leadership positions at Telstra, Pacnet and Verizon. Her expertise spans Mobility, Data, Voice, Submarine Cable, Data Centres, and IP, complemented by her profound understanding of the international market and strong relationships with global carriers.

Beyond her responsibilities at PCCW Global, Linda actively contributes to the industry and serves as Board member of i3Forum, and Advisory Council for Pacific Telecommunications Council (PTC), where she leverages her extensive industry knowledge to influence the future of global telecommunications.

Linda holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Chi Chui Mak is Senior Vice President of Product, Planning and Procurement for PCCW Global and our on-demand platform Console Connect. He has over 30 years of experience in various leadership and operational roles within the organisation.

His extensive expertise spans several critical areas, including engineering, finance, sales and marketing, product development, partnership building, and solutions advisory.

Throughout his career at PCCW Global, Chi Chui has successfully led global infrastructure projects across multiple continents, including the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. His leadership has been instrumental in developing and expanding the company’s global presence, demonstrating his ability to navigate complex challenges and drive growth.

Chi Chui holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, along with Master’s Degrees in Information Systems Management and Business Administration. His educational background equips him with the knowledge and skills necessary to foster innovation and digital transformation within the organisation.

Bret is our Chief Network Officer and has a broad spectrum of responsibilities within the company, including global network engineering, network project management and support functions, security and privacy, compliance and facilities and travel management.

Bret joined PCCW Global in 2001, prior to which he spent time as the Director of Engineering at Teleglobe International and as Director of Operations and Engineering at MCI/Worldcom.

Bret also represents the company on the board of REACH, which is a 50:50 joint venture with Telstra. He is based in Herndon, Virginia in the United States.

Teresa has a wealth of experience gained from managing financial and accounting functions within various business units of the PCCW-HKT Group.

Teresa was appointed to her current role in 2013, and she is responsible for all aspects of the finance function including credit control, treasury, audit and tax. The majority of her team is based in Hong Kong, although she also has team members located in PCCW Global’s regional offices around the world.

Prior to joining the PCCW-HKT Group, Teresa worked for Arthur Andersen (now PwC).

Michael Glynn is Senior Vice President of Strategic Channel Alliances and Digital Innovation. In his role, Michael is responsible for driving strategic partner alliances and building a global ecosystem of cloud, data centre, AI and XaaS providers as well as user-to-user engagement on the Console Connect Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) platform.

Michael also runs the global partner technical and innovation teams who are building and implementing a real-time, on-demand platform across the PCCW Global network.

Michael has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications and technology industries, working with startup companies, service providers and a number of key regional telecoms operators, this includes senior positions at Inter-Touch, Pacific Internet (PACNET), PIPE Networks and Vocus Communications. Most notably, he was a founding member of Megaport, Superloop and ActivePort.

Emmanuel is Senior Vice President of IoT, Mobility & Cloud at PCCW Global, leading product and commercial execution across these key growth areas. He drives innovation and customer value through cutting-edge mobile connectivity and digital solutions.

With over 20 years of telecommunications experience globally, Emmanuel offers deep market insight and strategic leadership. Before joining PCCW Global, he managed strategic accounts at Gateway Communications, a leading pan-African carrier acquired by PCCW Global in 2012.

In his role as Senior Vice President of Marketing, Neil Templeton is responsible for driving the global marketing strategy for PCCW Global and the Console Connect Software Defined Interconnection® platform. He oversees all areas of marketing activities for the PCCW Global and Console Connect brands, including communications, digital marketing, events, analytics, marketing tech and design.

Neil joined PCCW Global in 2013 and brings over 30 years of international B2B marketing experience in telecoms and other professional sectors. He previously held leadership positions in marketing, product management and business development at C&W, AT&T, FLAG and Berwin Leighton Paisner.

Neil has a BA honours degree from Manchester University.

Henry is our Senior Vice President for Agile Management. In his role, Henry works very closely with Paul Gampe to ensure the successful implementation and deployment of Agile processes and methodologies within PCCW Global.

Henry has held a number of senior management roles in both PCCW Global and other companies in the Asia Pacific region – these include various leadership roles in Products and Engineering within the company, together with roles as Head of Technology at Pacific Century Corporate Access and Chief Network Officer at Asia Broadcast Satellite.

He has more than 30 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry.

Lisa is Vice President for Global Services and Operations. Lisa’s globally-dispersed team is responsible for service delivery, service assurance and network operations for all services offered by PCCW Global and the Console Connect on-demand platform.

Her team is also focused on supporting the company’s future roadmap of automated, self-serve offerings. Before joining PCCW Global in 2010, Lisa held positions at GlobeNet, MCI Communications and Hewlett Packard, in various business management roles, including financial analysis, strategic alliance management and contract management.

Lisa holds an MBA from the University of Maryland.

Mike joined PCCW Global in 2012 at the time of the Gateway Communications acquisition. Mike was the co-founder and CEO of Gateway, and he has more than 30 years’ experience in the global ICT industry, having held senior management positions in South Africa, Australia and the UK. Mike has also chaired a number of international industry associations, and has a wealth of experience in developing business opportunities in emerging markets.

In addition to his marketing and strategy roles within PCCW Global, Mike has been responsible for acquisitions which helped to accelerate the expansion of the company into new markets. He also took responsibility for refocusing the training function as an engine of transformation, which has been very successful.

In his role as Senior Advisor, Corporate and External Affairs, Mike engages at an executive level with key stakeholders both internal and external to the Group. He also serves on the boards of a significant number of the company’s subsidiaries. Mike lives in both the UK and South Africa.

Based in Herndon, Virginia in the US, David is primary technology leader in respect of PCCW Global’s core IP network and the various architectures that support connectivity solutions based on IP networking. These include edge cloud, MPLS and internet transit services.

For the last five of his 18 years in post, David has focused on strategic IP network planning and the transformation of PCCW Global’s core network into a software-driven platform, as well as development of capabilities such as network virtualisation and OSS process automation.

Before joining PCCW Global, David spent three years at CAIS Internet as Director, IP Networks, and served Intelsat for nine years, during which he developed satellite ground control networks.

David Berntsen’s 30-year career in telecommunications has been focused on sales and business development. After joining PCCW Global in 2006, he developed the customer base on the US West Coast by concentrating on the top-five technology companies – an approach that resulted in strategic and productive customer partnerships.

Before joining PCCW Global, David spearheaded US west coast sales operations for COLT Telecom, establishing the company as preferred provider to many of the region’s largest tech companies.

Previous roles included software sales in partnership with Nortel and handheld radio sales for Motorola.

He has traveled extensively in Europe and Asia and lived in Hong Kong for a time in the 1980s, during which he supervised production facilities in mainland China, Macau and locally.

David graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in Marketing, majoring in sales management and international marketing.
