Senior DevOps Engineer for Atlassian Tools

We are looking for an admin for our Atlassian tools (Jira and Wiki). The candidate will maintain and operate our Jira and Wiki Internal server. Developing Workflow and helping the end users on the operational work.

Responsibilities:

  • Design custom Jira workflows for different issues types to assist in automation of incident response, build and deploy servers and applications as well as other continuous integration workflows.
  • Develop complex Jira workflows including project workflows, screen schemes, permission scheme, and notification schemes in Jira.
  • Perform the duties of a Jira engineer; responsible for maintenance, administration, upgrade, and enhancements to Jira and integrations with other tools or plugins.
  • Create Jira projects, queries, and reports.
  • Build and maintain security utilities and tools to enable the security operations team to operate quickly and at a large scale.
  • Research and architect solutions to solve security operations requirements.
  • Develop and maintain processes and documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to identify technical requirements and potential problems, issues, and solutions.
  • Develop code (Python, Powershell, Javascript, HTML, etc) to interact with REST APIs and API driven security technologies to automate security tasks.
  • Good understanding and able to support a migration of existing Jira Server to Jira Datacenter or Cloud as Atlassian is sunsetting Jira server

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Jira development and administration, including developing custom applications using vendor software including scheme-based configuration of projects, workflows, issue types, screens, custom fields, roles, permissions & notifications
  • Hands on knowledge of JQL/SQL and coding in Groovy
  • Adaptable with good problem solving and negotiating skills
  • Knowledge of one modern programming language (Python, PowerShell)
  • Able to operate REST API
  • Understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (Safe)
